DUI drugs. What you need to know.

Drugs, both legal and illegal, can remain in a user's system long after he or she has consumed them. The type of the sample analyzed makes a difference in the accuracy and reliability of any attempt to link the presence of a chemical or controlled substance in a person's body with impairment. A hair analysis will be the least reliable in connecting use and impairment, urinalysis is more reliable than hair analysis, and blood analysis is the most reliable method. This is because substances are in and out of the blood stream relatively quickly, longer in urine, and still longer in hair.
