Partridge Family Star Arrested for DUI

Fort Lauderdale resident David Cassidy, former star of "The Partridge Family", was arrested for DUI after an 8:30pm traffic stop on Florida's Turnpike in St. Lucie County, Florida. November 3, 2010.  

Cassidy was pulled over after a trooper observed him driving in an erratic manner, veering off the road and cutting off another driver. The highway patrol officer noted that Cassidy's breath smelled of alcohol and that he appeared nervous. Cassidy failed several roadside field sobriety tests and had an unlawful blood alcohol concentration of .139% and .141% based off breath tests. The trooper also found a half-empty bottle of bourbon inside Cassidy's vehicle, according to the report.
